We regret to inform everyone that the shows booked at T-Birds in Weaverville, NC have been canceled for reasons beyond our control.  Also, the shows that were scheduled at Downtown Sports Bar and Grill in Morganton, NC have also been canceled as the venue is having to go a different direction due to lack of community support for live music.  We wish both of these promoters/venues the absolute best and hope that should they ever decide to do live music again that we will be one of the first bands they contact.

We regret to inform everyone that our show this Saturday at Double Barrel Saloon in Gastonia has been cancelled due to venue operational changes that were an absolute must for the business but not conducive to our being able to present the absolute best show to our loyal fans and followers. Our next and last show for 2022 will be at Apps & Taps on December 9th with our friends in Trial By Fire! We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy the upcoming holiday season!

Throw open the books and let's schedule some dates for 2023.  We are coming off of a very successful 2022 and we are looking to make 2023 even better!  We are currently booking dates for 2023 and will be offering a limited number of dates to each venue so as to not create market oversaturation.  We will be booking 3-4 dates for the year within local market. If you are a venue owner or promoter and would like to schedule your shows, please message us or get in touch by text or phone call to (704)470-7996.  We will be reaching out to you as well.  We are always looking for new venues to play however we are limited as to where we can play due to the stage production we utilize.  We do have minimal technical requirements that are in place to bring the absolute best performance for not only the venue but for the patrons in attendance.  Speak to us if you have any questions or check our EPK page for our technical rider and requirements.

Hammer Down is available for club dates, fairs, festivals, corporate events, as an opening act for Tribute Bands and National Acts and private events.

This Saturday, July 23rd, 2022.  In honor of our brother's birthday, Hammer Down will be giving away for free a new merch item!  All you have to do is be present!  We have a limited run of 200 that will be available and given to you from the stage so that means you have to get out front and center!  Be sure and wear your Hammer Down shirts to show Wayneo's who the true Hammer Heads are!!

Due to reasons beyond our control, we have decided to cancel the show this Saturday at Leo's.  We ask that each of you keep Freddie and his family in your prayers as they deal with a very difficult family situation.  We thank you for your support as well as the prayers that you may send up for Freddie.  We will see everyone on the 26th at The Alibi in Thomasville, NC.

Hammer Down has partnered together with the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots Campaign and will be accepting donations of new unwrapped toys at the December 11, 2021 show at Leo's Food and Fun.  As a token of our appreciation for everyone who donates to this worthy cause, we will give you 20 tickets to be entered into the raffle for the Bass Drum head that we will raffle off that same night.  We would like to wish each and everyone of you a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year with many blessings for you and your families!

On December 11, 2021, we will be selling raffle tickets for a chance to own a piece of Hammer Down memorabilia!  The front bass drum heads currently in use by Hammer Down are being retired and we are going to give our fans an equal and fair chance to be the proud owner of one of the heads.  Everyone who attends the Leo's show on December 11th will receive a free raffle ticket with paid admission.  You may also purchase additional tickets at: 1 ticket for $1, 10 tickets for $5, and 20 tickets for $10.  Drawing will be held at some point during the show!

We will be in Thomasville, NC tomorrow night debuting at The Alibi.  If you are in the area, be sure and come see us!!

We are looking forward to returning to The Spinning Jenny in support of Trial By Fire this Saturday, September 18th!  Doors open at 7pm and we hit the stage at 8pm sharp!  Come early and get Hammered!  Wear your Official Hammer Down swag to really show the promoters just how big our Hammer Head family truly is!

Tickets are now on sale on our website for the show on June 19, 2021 at Leo's Food and Fun in Lincolnton, NC.  There are only 200 available tickets so grab yours today!  To navigate to the ticket sales, click on Shows then scroll down to where you see this show and click on the ticket link underneath.  Payments are accepted through PayPal or you can purchase your ticket day of show at the door.  This will be a hometown show for our drummer, Robb Williamson, so we hope to see lots of his life long friends in attendance.  It's not everyday you get a full band show in Lincolnton and we are hoping this kickstarts Leo's as a new happening place for live music entertainment.

After a long and extensive search, Hammer Down would like to introduce you to the newest member of the band who will be adding to the depth of our sound both instrumentally and vocally. Please congratulate and welcome Mr. Jerry Bridges from Gastonia, NC to the Hammer Down lineup. We are excited to have him on stage with us and look forward to him getting to meet all of our Hammerhead Family!!

As we get ready to play our last booked show of 2020, we are looking ahead to 2021!  All we want for Christmas is a second guitar player!  We are currently seeking a second guitarist to play rhythm and/or lead or both to join us!  We rehearse in Forest City, NC just so anyone interested can decide if the drive may be a bit much.  We have a show the end of January and another one the end of February and would like to have them worked in and ready to go by then.  If you are interested, you can message us through Facebook or send an email to info@hammerdownrocks.com or contact any member of the band or Janice Head for more information!
